Welcome to Prof. Deng Feng from Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, CAS.
He gave an academic report entitled “NMR research on the structure and mechanism of solid acid catalysts” at 9:00 am on November 16th. Prof. Deng introduced some NMR methods which are used to quantitively determine the acid strength of solid acid catalysts, study the synergistic effect of active sites, study the host-guest interaction and so forth. In-situ NMR and the application of all these methods in C1 species activation and transformation were also highlighted in the report.
